Maths that keeps explaining until it clicks.
AMVix Learn teaches one small Year 5 skill at a time. If your child gets stuck, it finds the exact step they missed and teaches it another way.
Start with the Space check-up to find the right first skill.
Find the value of x.
You wrote 295°. That uses 360°. Let’s look at the picture first: is it a straight line?
Every skill follows the same five stages
Short, visual, and one step at a time. Your child moves on only after showing they understand.
- See it
Five different examples: a moving picture, real life, hands-on, a comparison, and a school question.
- Try it
One question at a time, checked straight away.
- Fix it
A wrong answer starts a short check to find the missing step. No answer is given away.
- Master it
Two or three right in a row, on new questions.
- Keep it
Memory checks after 1, 3, 7 and 21 days.
A report that tells you what to do next
Not just a score. You see what is causing the difficulty, which explanation worked, and a five-minute activity to try.
- The exact step where the thinking changed
- The explanation that helped: a picture, a clock, movement or the rule
- Memory checks, so skills stay strong for UASA
Recognises 180° correctly, but subtraction from 180 is still inconsistent.
Clock picture and count-up subtraction.
5-minute subtraction helper, then retry A18.
Built on the KSSR Year 5 syllabus
Aligned to the KSSR Semakan Year 5 Mathematics DSKP. Taught in English (DLP), with the BM exam words shown alongside.
Questions parents ask
Is it the same as the school syllabus?
Yes. Skills follow the KSSR Semakan Year 5 Mathematics DSKP. A few Year 4 skills rebuild weak foundations, and stretch skills are clearly marked.
My child learns Maths in BM at school. Can they use it?
The lessons are in English for DLP classes, and every question also shows the BM exam wording. A full BM version is planned.
Why not just show the answer?
Seeing the answer rarely fixes the thinking. Finding the exact step that changed, then explaining it differently, does. In test mode, worked solutions appear after the test is submitted.
What if my child keeps getting stuck?
After three tries, AMVix picks a different path: a helper lesson, the skill before, a favourite explanation, guided practice, or a break.
How long is a lesson?
One skill usually takes 5 to 10 minutes.
What happens to my child’s data?
We store only a nickname and learning records, under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We never sell data.
Find the right starting point
The Space check-up takes about 10 minutes and shows which skill to begin with.
